My Next Project: InDigital
Tuesday, 03 January 2006

It didn't take long for me to pick up a new project, though this is far riskier than any I've ever undertaken. I've decided to create and fund my own gadget show called InDigital - Your Life In Gear. I haven't had a chance to build the site yet, but hope to before the first episode goes online. For avid TechTV fans, the show goes back to the tradition of Fresh Gear before the start of TechLive when Sumi Das hosted. Of course, the look and feel is different, but there won't be a shortage of opinion, something I always thought made Fresh Gear great.

So far, Revision3 has agreed to distribute the show and several producers from G4's Filter are working on it with me. Andrew Hawn (former LabRat) and Diane Mizota (former host of Filter) will co-host with me for the first few episodes. After that, we'll see what happens.

The first episode is from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and new shows will follow every two weeks to start. With enough interest, I'm hoping to make it weekly. I'll need everyone's support to make it happen, so download away! The first episode should be online January 10th or 11th.

Awesome
Where will it be aired on TV? That is so great, I have really been missing some of the old shows. Hope people get together and get them back on the air. Maybe you reviewed that photo printer on Fresh Gear.

Is this Show only on the internet? Or also on TV? If so what channel would this be under? I used to love fresh gear..until everything just fell apart with techtv and everyone left..

Hahn, I hope you know you have countless fans that will undoubtedly support you in whatever you choose to do post-indigital, I've been a fan since episode 1, infact I remember the day that the little thumbnail popped up inbetween diggnation and infected on the old Rev3 site. It was easily one of the better shows on that network, which seems to be slowly going downhill. Please keep us updated with any projects you have in the future, I really look forward to anything new you put out (or maybe even a continuation of the old). And maybe one day give us the full scoop on why one of the best shows on the web is gone.

Best of luck.

too sad
I can't believe they killed InDigital and kept the drunken gigglefest called Diggnation. What a rip. Good luck on your next thing.

Good for you. Seems like you got a little shafted by Rev3. I'll be watching, hope it's a huge success.

Sad
Hanh, it's sad to see you go. Please note that you have loyal fans and we'll be waiting for you in your next endeavor. Please keep us posted on what's going on with you. I was attracted to InDigital for what you and your colleagues brought to the show each week.

I wish you success in the future!

Sad
Hahn,

I'm sorry to see InDigital go. It was the most professional show on Rev3, and it was the only one that felt like former TV pros were behind it. I hope you decide to continue it in some form.

Best of luck!

Sad
It's so sad to see InDigital go, It was my favorite online show of all time & reminded me of the tech tv days. I really hope you continue some form of the show. I'm willing to bet it was one of the most downloaded shows on Rev3, Why would that let it go. It was so sad at the end, Like your creation had been taken away... The show will be missed.

I wish you the best of luck in the future & Hope to see you in front of the cameras again soon !

High 5 for Hahn
I will continue to stalk you in your future endeavours. Rev3 sucks especially Alex Albrecht (co-star of Burger King commercial #5143).
